Subconscious Restructuring™ Practitioner Client Agreement
1. Definitions
- SR™ Practitioner: A Certified SR™ Practitioner providing services.
- Client: The individual receiving services from an SR™ Practitioner.
- Subconscious Restructuring™ (SR™): An evidence-based Mind-Gut-Brain mental health protocol that does not require medications, diagnostic labels, or personal history.
2. Data Transparency Privacy and Measure-Track-Improve Policy
- Measure-Track-Improve Policy: Clients are required to complete an Emotional Fitness Checklist and Gut Health Checklist at each session. Data (excluding personally identifiable information) may be used for research and performance analysis.
- Since 2009, the Burris Institute has upheld a commitment to Emotional (mental) Health Data Transparency, consistently showcasing the performance levels of our SR™ Practitioners without any incidents.
- Clients may subscribe to BurrisConnect.com for privacy, allowing them to work with an SR™ Practitioner without granting access to their account details.
- When engaging with an SR™ Practitioner, all entered data is visible to them for the purpose of restructuring ineffective thought patterns.
- Corporate and Military Settings: Supervisors may monitor SR™ Practitioner outcomes solely to assess practitioner performance. Clients may use an identification number instead of their real name.
3. Client Acknowledgments
- Not Psychotherapy: Subconscious Restructuring™ is a structured program and is NOT psychotherapy.
- No Medications, Labels, or Personal History Required: SR™ focuses solely on the client's emotional state and does not require psychiatric diagnoses or medical history.
- Client Responsibility: Clients may voluntarily share information, which will be kept confidential unless legally required otherwise.
- Process Intent: SR™ guides clients in understanding and reprogramming thought, emotion, and behavior.
4. Practitioner Obligations
- SR™ Practitioners are NOT obligated to refer clients to external healthcare providers based on assessments.
- Any decision to seek medical or psychological consultation is at the client's sole discretion.
5. Legal Considerations
- Client Waiver: Clients waive any right to legal action against the SR™ Practitioner for dissatisfaction with services.
- Independent Practitioners: SR™ Practitioners operate independently of the Burris Institute unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6. Copyright and Confidentiality
- Intellectual Property: All materials are copyrighted by the Burris Institute. "Subconscious Restructuring®" is a registered trademark.
- Confidentiality Commitment: The Burris Institute and all SR™ Practitioners will protect client confidentiality, except where required by law. Identifying information will not be disclosed without explicit client consent.
- Data Use: Client data, when used for research, will be anonymized and stripped of personally identifiable information.
7. Burris Gut Health Checklist Disclaimer
- The Gut Health Symptom Checklist is for informational purposes only and should not be used for diagnosis or treatment.
- Clients should consult healthcare providers before making medical decisions.
- The Burris Institute is not liable for any consequences resulting from reliance on this information.
8. Agreement Confirmation
Clients must confirm:
- They are 13 years of age or older.
- They fully understand and agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.
Burris Connect Terms of Use
1. Privacy
- Our Privacy Policy details how we collect and use client information. We encourage users to review it before using BurrisConnect.com.
2. Content Ownership & Sharing
- Clients retain ownership of their posted content but grant BurrisConnect.com a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license for its use.
- Deleted content may persist in backups temporarily.
3. Safety Commitments
Users agree NOT to:
- Engage in unlawful, misleading, or malicious activities.
- Use automated data collection tools without permission.
- Post hateful, violent, or explicit content.
- Harass, intimidate, or solicit sensitive data from users.
4. Account Security
Users must:
- Provide accurate information and maintain account security.
- Be at least 13 years old.
- Avoid sharing login credentials or transferring accounts without permission.
5. Protecting Others' Rights
- Users must not infringe on others' rights or post sensitive identification or financial details.
6. Amendments
- We may modify this agreement with prior notice, except in urgent legal or administrative situations.
7. Termination
- We reserve the right to terminate access for violations of this agreement.
8. Disputes
- All disputes will be resolved under California law, with litigation occurring in Los Angeles County.
9. Liability Disclaimer
- BurrisConnect.com is provided "as is" without warranties.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Liability, if any, is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount paid by the user in the past year.
